Can anyone from mainland China tell me if Imageshack.us is indeed blocked from the Chinese network? A significant part of the internet/sim forums will probably look empty it is is - this blog included. (You won't need a Dreamwidth account to comment here, by the way).

I know I already posted this room in the Coffin thread, but I like having my stuff in one place. Err, I guess you could see it as a preview for MF's next chapter (which is again taking too long). I'll leave the description, because it was actually rather spoiler-tastic.

And the dude himself:

You can listen to Nefeli here at Youtube - it's a pretty piano song.

I saw some WCIFs for this key earring, so I figured it was easiest to just upload it here for future reference. This is Aikea Guinea's pretty wall key object as an earring for TM/TF/AM/AF. Meshes and textures are by her (I just resized it and added the ring) so that's where the credits and love should go <3. It doesn't animate, fyi, because I'm a talentless hack when it comes to that.

So. I use GunMod's lighting mod, because it makes environments look more realistic and epic/creepy/all that jazz, which gets major love from me. But every time I get back in my game, the way to achieving agreeable lighting for photoshoots of actual sims proves to be a total mystery again, requiring much fiddling with lamps and windows and more lamps. It drives me bonkers.

Usually it either gets over-saturated, losing details due to harsh light:

...or it gets all crappy like this, with the shadow outlining the face's polygons:

...when what you want is something more subtle like this:

*casts Wail of the Banshee*

Just needed to vent about my least-favourite part of picture-taking. =_= Surely I'm not the only one struggling with this?

Now back to Lindebaum/Cohen.

Here are my textures (well, the blend) on Anto's latest hair. I'll be the first to admit the change isn't all that drastic, but I do so enjoy consistency in my game XD. Polycount's about 10000, files are binned/linked/compressed. I added a new shade to my usual palette, namely 'silver', which I missed - I tend to add a warmer shade to my whites.

I forgot what I was doing before the want to do this hit me. "_"

Hello and on to a good New Year!

It seems the Wishing Tree is being cleaned regularly, so I'm reposting this here: the picket fences from FO3 converted for TS2. Three variations to alternate and a matching gate. Polycount is low, files are compressed.
* I cloned this from a base game fence, but custom fences seem to work iffy in the base game alone (or not show up at all). So make sure you have at least one EP when using custom fences.
