I like your username. ;D I suppose most care goes into the set and the actual picture-taking rather than editing: The perspective and angles, as well as the in-game lighting (I can't play without my mangled version of Radiance 2.3 now - it gives things that extra realistic touch). To me it's little things like that that make a difference. I also prefer using a screenshot program over the in-game camera (due to picture quality). The only picture editing I do is sharpening a bit, then resizing - I don't have a super duper graphics card or anything. XD
