[Build items] Panorama (Murals for the masses)

Here are some murals for you, in case you're like me and don't feel like moving the sodding mountains for that one lousy decor shot, or for those sims who like pretending they don't live in the boring suburbs where nothing really happens. Yesss, they're not panoramas, I realise it's a shitty name. There are 13 murals (or 39 wallpapers) and one collection file, making for 40 files in total. Files are Compressorized and numbered/named, so you can chuck the ones you don't want.

I like sticking windows in front of these and hide the edges with curtains. Fun times.

Question: how do you stick these behind a window...?

For the first two examples I placed another wall exactly one tile behind the wall with the windows, and with the third I used moveobjects_on/snapobjects off to place the windows on the wall without them snapping to place (but that only works if they cover the entire wall).

Hey, may I mention something?

If you put these on a 3-tile wall to wall painting mesh such as the ones at mangosims, you can shove the painting halfway through a wall with snapobjectstogrid false.

This way the image will fit in literally any window with no seams to hide, even short ones.

Ah yes, I actually considered putting them on that mesh. I decided to make them murals because I was able to get more crisp details than the mapping allowed (< hates pixelated backgrounds). Still, you're right, as a painting they would've been a lot more versatile. =/

Ah, those are personal recolours of these lovely windows by Nengi65 and these by XMSims. I was going to make more recolours of that first one but...lazy. XD

Haha, you're too kind! I actually had a set of recolours for those, but some recolours looked dumb on the slaved doors because of the mapping, so I gave up XD. I'll think about it, though! And the curtains are Gelydh's recolours of Holy Simoly curtains.
