Your Stories are an Inspiration!

Ahh, I always love reading your stories, Yuxi! They're amazing. :) They have inspired me to make my own Sim story based off my Fictional Romance novel...but Idk how to do this. @_@ I'm a noob when it comes to TS2 storytelling. Just the mere thought sends my head spinning--seems like making TS2 stories would be tough. But I figured, "well, if I can write stories quite well, then surely making a TS2 based on my novel would be just as easy and no different." Perhaps I thought too lightly. x) LOL! But I think I will do this. :) I love storytelling and writing them. I just...don't have the necessary clothing for the historical character Lt. Col. Banastre Tarleton. T_T I can't make his lovely Green Dragoons uniform. I keep failing at it. LOL! And without that, I can't make a TS2 story quite yet. :(

(And yes, I now have my own Dreamwidth account. I moved my TS2 stuff from Blogger to here. ;) )

Thanks! :D That's a lovely idea, making a sim story based on your novel! If you find it hard to set up the pictures, maybe try making a few test shots to practise and try different types of lighting/posing/styles before you jump into the fray. I did that and do feel it made things easier. It may look daunting at first but you'll get the hang of it quickly!
And I feel you on the lack of suitable CC! It's one of the main reasons I wanted to learn how to make things in the first place, haha.

Ahhh, thank you! Hearing you say that makes me feel less overwhelmed. It is, as you say, daunting at first glance. Lol! I have messed around and have figured out what I like and don't like. I think I can begin my first chapter...but ooo! Hm. The 18th Century clothing is going to be a problem. There's not a whole lot of options on the Internet for all the clothing categories. *ponders* And I have attempted to make my own but I haven't found my footing yet. I may have to delay my first chapter a bit longer.

Buuut I did manage to make my first wallpaper set...and it's a big one. So, I'm getting there! I'm learning everyday. :)

Any other pointers for me in making TS2 stories? :)

Hmm, there is a brilliant posebox catalogue out there (http://lachesispbcatalog.blogspot.nl/), that I found very helpful when trying to find fitting poses. Also, JD's animation boxes (http://www.jd-movies.com/moviemakinghelp.php/) and Decorgal's animation paintings are brilliant - the in-game animations look a lot more lively than many of the posebox ones!

Wallonia! I've been there a few times, beautiful landscape. <3
I can only read French, unfortunately, speaking goes too fast for me to follow. I love the sound of it though! :D

Oh that's Anahon, he picked up runaway kids and brought them up in his subterranean basement. XD I've not written very indepth about him yet, though.
