Hm...I myself just use the 0.98 scale with Center of Mass (or two or three ticks with 0.99). To prevent gaps and wonkiness, you almost always need to refit things by hand afterwards because the overall shape of the M/F bodies is still different. (Males have a bigger neck, broader shoulders, etc.) Resizing alone usually won't do. : ( But you can check whether you're doing it correctly using Dr. Pixel's female base. (It's linked to in part 1 of the tut.)
