I'm a bit preoccupied with a new job, uni stuff, trying to salvage what's left of my webdesign skills and becoming more interested in my own hair than its 3d equivalent (gasp!), so I haven't felt like booting up my game much. Especially after what happened to GoS. I'm still sort of fuming about it and the dimwits that caused it, but I'm confident the forums will be back to stay.

That said, I thought it'd be fun to do something different and ended up making a modern lot with the intent to eventually upload it here, but... it just feels ~so empty inside~. And so clean.









I think I might end up redecorating the entire thing.

Anyway, I have a chapter to finish so here's some Woodblue to listen to.

I don't know why, but the chandelier really makes it pop, IMO. As a former clutteraholic who's been enjoying some clean, sparse decorating lately I gotta say, it looks lovely.

That's not empty at all! It's beautiful. There's just enough colour to prevent it from being sterile, whilst still being modern and clean. I really admire the way you use different textures and colours, everything fits in together so well. And those turquoise-tinged metal walls are to die for, do you remember where you got them?

Yep, like it says in the post vicious_fishes linked to - TSR made some dumb claim about copyright issues to GoDaddy and Liegen made a counter-claim, after which they pulled the site down.
Yes, I figured I'd start with a somewhat simple not-too-cluttered lot! I'll only have to do the exterior and add some clutter and make sure it's actually playable. XD
Luckily the job is only part-time (it's in a restaurant), or I'd never be able to do both. Alas, the college fees won't pay themselves. :(

Thanks! :D I usually have some sort of story behind a set when plopping in CC, but this is just... a sim house. It's definitely a refreshing change, for once. I'll try to get it upload-worthy as soon as possible.

It's a Maxis table, actually, but the gorgeous retexture is by Necromunchy. The chairs are from Adele's Everett set and the little poof seats are from this lovely little set by Mira.
