[Lot] Pendulum Loft

I'm in a mood to share stuff, so here is that modern lot I posted pictures of a few weeks ago. Don't expect too much in the architectural department - I just like me some pretty colours.

ATTENZIONE: This was built using all EPs, so you're probably going to need those, as well as all SPs. I don't remember whether I used SP stuff, but if you don't have them all it'll just look like missing CC.

I'd recommend using CleanInstaller when installing this lot. I made an attempt to fish out all the unused recolours, so if something flashes blue that is not yet listed below, hit me up.

Missing CC/Shopping list
To make things appear exactly like in my pictures, you'll need to download these additional sets. Thanks to everyone for helping with this!

- Blake_boy's plantation set.
- Adele's Ramsay set and the pale recolour by Bosie.
- Guatla's broken bathroom (for the lamp outside).
- Olemantiker's Breeze set.
- White Burj sink recolour by Senemm (booty, part of burjbathroom-parti).
- Shoukeir's books and Dinki's NL painting recolours (the sites I got them from are down so I uploaded the complete sets to Mediafire.)
- Single bed blanket slave mesh by ImpishParody (I think this is included with the lot, but still), master mesh and recolour by Jonesi.
- White Adele counter recolour by Engelchen.
- Maxis Moroccan table recolour by Necromunchy.
- Apparently the little glass table in the bathroom isn't included either. It's an IKEA SP pre-order item *cough*.

I knew there was a reason I was afraid to share lots.

For shits, here is Su, the inhabitant of this lot in my game. She might look a bit dolly, but she sure liked gagging over every piece of furniture I bought.

This lot is just insane. you know that everyone has its place and you know where to put it. it's gorgeous.

Oh my GOD! I never download furnished lots because of the MESS they create on my DLs folder... but OMG! I'll no doubt download this, even if I get crazy later. Even when it is not my style at all, I love it so much that some sim of mine WILL NEED to live there!

I guess the books are a slaved item, then. And sod, the site I got them from seems to be dead. (They were from Sims2play at http://sims-2.gameslife.ru/). Try putting these in your DL folder - do they still flash blue?
As for the pictures not showing up, I assume you mean the pictures in this post, yes? They show up fine for me, so it's not Tinypic. Could it be you once blocked something from Tinypic? I'll reupload them to another host when I'm home.

I believe Yuxi she actually means the 'B Stroke' recolours in the picture - they weren't packaged with the lot.

I should probably also mention the house is nothing short of stunning - it looks magnificent ingame.

First of all I want to say that this lot is amazing. I really adore your style. Sadly though after downloading this lot I ran into a couple missing objects and recolors and it would be great if you could help me out with fixing it. And to help you out a little I've got a couple pictures to show you whats missing and how the objects are apearing in my game.

Thank you so much for those pictures, they're immensely helpful! Most of those are repository objects (and of the same set, no less) so not having the master file makes them flash blue, but the sink is just me leaving the recolour unchecked while cleaning up the lot file. I'll extend the list of required CC on top of the post.

Usually I don't download lots with CC anymore, but I just had to make an exception for this.
This lot is incredible and makes me want to play again, although I haven't touched the game for months :D

Hi Yuxi! I love your style and the pics are gorgeous, that's why I got so upset when I wasn't able to load the lot in the game! I have all EPs and SPs and I got all the additional CC. I installed it. Everything was fine - I started the game, put the lot from the lot bin in the neighborhood and started loading it, but it was taking too long to load so I had to close the game.

I started the game again, deleted the lot from the neighbourhood and the lot bin, quit the game properly, removed all CC from my Downloads, deleted .cache files (it usually helps), redownloaded and reinstalled the lot without the CC - the same thing happened when I tried to load it.

I tried to install and load other lots, played, put the CC back - everything seems to be fine with my game. Lot works for others (as from the comments), but I would really like to see and play this lot too. I think it's maybe a minor bug or something, so could you (or someone else) please try to repackage it and upload one more time? All CC may be removed to reduce the size since I've got them already. Please?

How strange. It's just the lot that's not loading and everything else (all the included CC) works fine? I've...no idea what could cause that. : / Mediafire fudging up, perhaps?
I extracted the entire lot again from my game and deleted the CC using CleanInstaller. I hope it'll work for you this time around: Click.

Thank you very much for your quick response, Yuxi, but the same thing happened again. I wouldn't have asked if I hadn't tried everything I know and if I hadn't wanted to play this lot so much. I still don't know what's wrong.
But thank you again and I'm really looking forward to more lot downloads - hopefully I will be able to see them in my game too! - your interiors (and exteriors) are amazing as well as bodyshop stuff!

Just a question, what Expansion packs and Special packs do you have?
And which do you need to download this? :S I am only amture to sims 2 xD

Hi! I have all EPs and SPs installed. From what I understand, you'll need at least all EPs (it's a hit and miss sometimes because of some coding present in earlier EPs that were later introduced in other EPs too, like the staging I used), but you might not need the SPs. I've been told that if I used an object introduced in an SP you don't have, it will just not show up (as opposed of crashing your entire game).

Might just be me but..Mediafire is being a pain and i either get a 0kb file or the download says its started and nothing ever goes, it seems to only be doing it on this lot and Bosie's recolors of Adele's Ramsay set :/

Mediafire does that often. I added an alternate link for the lot, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait for Mediafire to shape up for Bosie's recolours : |.

Is there a reason why the lot price is $261,306,758 in game, therefore making it impossible to buy and play in? :\

The fully furnished version is 28,655 simoleons in my game. I'm guessing you have the Overpriced Lot bug going on here - try the solution mentioned there.

I downloaded the lot and everything in the shopping list, slapped the lot into my neighborhood, tried to load it and the game crashed in less than ten seconds. I also noticed the pricing was 3,856 something simoleons. o_O

Notes: The only EP I don't have is Bon Voyage, and I don't have FF or H&M, but I find it very unlikely that not having these additions would crash the game.

Is it possible that the mediafire file became corrupted or something of the sort? :/ The photographs of this lot are absolutely amazing, and I'm dying to play it!

Hmm, my first guess would be that not having BV crashes the lot. Not having those SPs should be fine, but from what I gather, not having the required EPs is more or less a hit or miss. Perhaps BV is one of those EPs that adds a lot of new code? I am unsure what else it could be.

Did you try the Megaupload mirror?

Hey Yuxi, I love your work so, so, so much! Trouble is my game can't load ANY custom lots at all without going kapoof! So I have to try make it from scratch...

If you are kind enough, can you please tell me all the walls you're using so I can get them seperately? Please, please, please?

Hmm, the thing is, most of these walls are no longer online. You could sort through the lot's content using CleanInstaller to download just the CC. I could try digging through my Downloads folder to find them, but it might take a while.

Unfortunately, I'm using Mac, and there's no Clean Installer for it. So, even if it'll take me another month to get the walls, I'll patiently wait for it.
