[Play] Bohemians and back alleys.

I'm fascinated with urban decay, but find it difficult to get that 'grubby city at night' feeling when making lots. I was quite happy with how this little set turned, though... And since I only implemented three screenshots of it in MF, I'm afraid you'll have to suffer the rest here, hah!
Ahh, I imagine this as the back of a poker club, located next to an abandoned warehouse and a cheap bordello of some sort. Guess that shows the gutter my mind is in.

Now that I'm picspamming here anyway, here are a few pictures of sims I found in my IS-account: Eylam, some rich bohemian wannabe, and...some version of Enlai, I think. I do so like looking back at things every once in a while.

Ik bedenk me net dat ik gisteren van Kooten en de Bie heb gemist. Verdeurie zeg. X(

I love urban decay as well, and it's quite common around my area.
And as always, beautiful shots.

Poetic isn't the word I would use. Dingy, derelict, deserted... Along those lines. A lot of the run down buildings in the ghetto are most likely raided crackhouses. You know, things like that. I don't like how New York is over-glamorized in the media, since in reality it's gritty and quite bland.

You're a genius when it comes to building/creating/decorating such things, you are.
Do you know "Supernatural"? I sometimes think you might like it form what we get to know of you from your blog and such. But maybe you don't xD
But while that show may be a bit in the mainstream, it's still totally awesome!
And by the way, thank you always for your music recommendations. I can't stop listening to Ludovico Einaudi now xD

Eeeeeeeeee a picture post from you! :D I'm always excited whenever I get another glimpse into your game. The pictures of the city look so real, and I know I already said this in the GoS thread, but I really really like Eylam. Such a great smile.
Also, I hope you don't mind me asking but where did you get Eylam's hair?

You're welcome, and I look forward to seeing more pictures. :)
Thanks! I never think to check Rose's site anymore 'cause her updates are so erratic.

That lot is incredible! I can't imagine you having trouble with urban lots, this looks so utterly realistic. I especially love the lighting.

Helloooo.

Uhm.
Ben je Nederlands? ö
Ik zag dit onder de plaatjes staan: Ik bedenk me net dat ik gisteren van Kooten en de Bie heb gemist. Verdeurie zeg. X(
En toen dacht ik, verhip! Dat is Nederlands!
If you're not Dutch, this what I said:
Are you Dutch? ö
Because I saw this underneath the pictures: Ik bedenk me net dat ik gisteren van Kooten en de Bie heb gemist. Verdeurie zeg. X(
And so I thought, hey!, That's Dutch!

Haha.
Right.

But awsome pictures! Really like it! Can you also download them? Your lots, houses, sims?

Efleee.

Eflee dinges.

Incredible shots - the lighting and the rain absolutely make them - to me they have the feel of a set for a Ridley Scott movie. :)

These are wonderful, and he looks so happy! :)

My goodness, those exterior pictures are just pure awesomeness. I like how realistic and aesthetic they are. And the use of reflecting floors to get the ground look wet is definitely something I need to try out in my own game.

May I ask how you got rid of the floor edge on the balcony? You used some decorative floor pieces instead of actual floors, right? No?

Oh, thank you. You know what's funny? I already have all the floors of that set. I guess I ought to download the whole set now in order to avoid further misunderstandings.

On a slightly different note, I spent about an hour yesterday gazing at your pictures. Your interiors make me want to be a sim myself and spend a large amount of time in your game. It is marvellously gorgeous.
