The more I look at this, it's hard to believe that it's Sims 2. The pictures are just amazing; it must've taken you a long time to decorate it the way you wanted it to look. I'm jealous ~

One of the things I really love about your writing is that you don't use anything but your own world. Every character is complete in that place. And the prose. Which is fabulous.

I try to avoid writing about a real place because I just know I'll get it completely wrong, hah. I imagined Malrennan as a smaller, grittier version of London, with enclaves where rich folks live like in Caïro, and bit of Tokyo glamour added to the mix. The brighter the sun, the darker the shadows and all that.
