[Play: Sims] Sandwalkers pt. 2
Hey ho rode kool. I must confess: TS3 is looking shinier and shinier to me every day, but I'm trying to keep my paws off at the moment. I definitely don't need another game draining my time, heh.
As for today's picspam, I made five more fantasy-themed sims for the prompt challenge at GoS for October, annnd since they're starting to look alike towards the end I think that's my cue to stop. Definitely makes me appreciate contemporary themes more, though.
Astrolatry - Engyen

This is Engyen, high priest of a god associated with one of the two moons that orbit his world. Priests of this god sleep at day, waking up as the sun sets, and as such they are a rare sight to most. Engyen wears the face of austerity and he is much like the god he serves: Just as distant, just as cold and just as indifferent to those in his shadow.
Primrose - Ienres

There were many who loved the chaotic bustle of the city; its endless stream of merchants with their donkeys, the nobles on their dromedaries and the mass of peasants and beggars making their way through the streets at all hours of the day. She was not one of them; it was her habit to sneak away to the wilds beyond the city's walls, until one day she simply decided she did not want to return. She was like a wild flower: Vivacious and beautiful, not to be tamed.
The primrose is a wild flower native to the countries around the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe. Plucking them from the wilds is illegal in many countries now, apparently.
Abomination - Ysulemin

Ysulemin was born in a world where magic in its most mundane form was a common sight. Nobody feared the local medicine women, with their knowledge of herbs and their healing touch, nor did they fear the shamans and the oracles. But Ysulemin was different. Even when he was a babe, the hellfire burning behind his eyes unnerved the townsfolk. An imperial mage's convoy found him as a young child in the midst of the smouldering remains of the town and the surrounding forest, and he has refused to speak ever since.
'Abomination' makes me think of sorcerers and mages due to Drago- yes, how about I stop being a broken record. XD
Vow - Medenghen

How far should duty go? It was a question that had kept Medenghen and his comrades occupied for many days as the mad Stadtholder pointed their swords at the slightest hint of turmoil - even if that were an unarmed beggar. There were those who said it was not their place to question, only to act when told to do so. Others said that their loyalty was ultimately to the city and its people, not to its ruler. As the paranoia of their superior grew so did their defiance, until the night came when they finally decided to take up arms against the madman himself.
Ursula - Shyan

Shyan was the daughter of a successful merchant prince in the capital. Of quick wit, with a charming but stern disposition and excellent negotiation skills, she had always been the pride of her family. Greatly valuing her independence, she downright refused to marry the man her father had promised her hand to, starting a feud that would last for years. When her father died she took over the House, devoting most of her attention to bringing her greatest rivals to ruin.
The existence of St. Ursula has been disputed, but her life has been described in the Legenda Aurea (a Medieval book recording the lives of saints). One version states that she refused to marry some dude and got killed for it. No such misogyny in my world!

Re: Downloads removed? :...(
I'm sorry I'm not going to see these in my game, but I want to thank you for so many pretty things that have made my sims (and myself) very happy ;)
Re: Downloads removed? :...(
You're very welcome!
Re: Downloads removed? :...(
What a treat! I honestly didn't expect it, I'm so excited to have this! You just made my day - and I love your particular recolour, that's what I was hoping to get (especially since I have never seen the original version). Thank you for this beautiful addition for my game. You know what they say, God (or the devil, if you will ;) is in the details...
