[Picspam] Club Hemisphere

I am way too excited for the DA2 demo that is to be released today. GIVE IT TO MEH.

And here is some picspam of Club Hemisphere, supposed to be an exclusive host club in the uptown area of Malrennan. MF's next chapter is taking long because I'm rewriting all the previous dialogue to reflect plot changes, meh.

Holy hell Yuxi, this is amazing. o_o I love that green lighting, the whole atmosphere reminds me of something out of the Matrix.

One thing I'm still confused about--how do you get your murals to show up on the inside of windows like you've got here? It looks like they're pasted right onto the same wall the windows are on. Is this an illusion, or am I missing something?

Aw, thank you! I love messing with the lighting, but it can be a hit or miss. XD

Let's see, these murals in particular are these recolours of Mango's huge painting mesh, placed in the walls with cheats and with Murano's reflective walls on top of them (but still in the windows) to simulate window reflections.
I tend to prefer wallpaper murals because you can get higher quality pictures and they don't look so squashed on the window if you place them on a wall one tile behind the window, but painting meshes are much more practical.

Oh, I see! Very tricky ;) So, when you use wallpaper murals, you tend to create a second row of walls on which to place the murals, correct? That's what I thought, but I think I saw people using the painting meshes and assumed they were actually wallpaper murals, and I got so confused.

I love your work so much, I come back and study it! This is so beautiful, so eerie. The green lighting is awesome! I love the city murals behind/inside the windows (something I think I saw you do before and was just blown away), but I ADORE ADORE the fish!

Stunning. Both your mad decorating skills and your graphics, which leads me to a question: which is your graphics card? I'm in the process of choosing a new PC for gaming (mostly Sims 2) and ideally, I'd like to have graphics like yours.

My card isn't that stellar anymore, actually. I use a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT: It's already a few years old, but it can run even the newer games like Mass Effect 2 (and Sims 3) just fine. If you're on a budget or mainly intend to play Sims, I can definitely recommend it.

Where i find this japaneses windows?

They're by Windkeeper at TSR. I think they're part of her Tokyo set.

Where can I find the glass wall divider in pic's 5 and 6 would love to have them for my game?

The walls in the 1st pic, champagne bucket, mirror behind bar, the bottles on the left side of the bar under the shelves, & lights in 3rd to last pic (except of ceiling lights).

Walls are from Sapphire Sims, with Murano's shiny wall overlay.
Champagne by Birgit
Mirror by Sims in Paris
Bottles by Asamo. It's actually a larger, counter-size fridge object...thing.
Lights are Maxis (the round flat one), N-A-N-U at TSR (Latia set - the tall one) and DOT at TSR (the sparklies)

Sapphire Sims and Asamo are gone, so I've uploaded the walls and bottles here for you.

This is some awesome work! :) Was wondering were I can get both chair sets the one against the wall in 2nd pic the ones near the curtains. Also where did you get the fish tank and the black curtians

Thanks! The chairs came with Nightlife, the fish tank just consists of some deco fish from Black's Sims Zoo and some coloured lights, and the black curtains are my own recolours - should be around on this blog somewhere, under objects.

OK I have to ask now... I read that people asked for downloads a few times, and either saw no answer or that you only would upload particular things you thought turned out nice or sth like that. (However, I never found a download no matter what I googled.) I thought I'd respect that because... it sucks when you're passionate about sth, and people keep asking for stuff that's not as good as it could be yet etc etc. But I have to now.
This club, and the abandoned warehouse from another post. I've spent so many frustrating days and hours trying to create such an atmosphere... and finally gave in to the thought that I'd better rely on other people's skills lol. Please give us download links ;_; I would crawl on my knees in front of you for that now... but... well, internet and stuff. hehe
