[Build/Object recolours] Thousand and One Nights pt 1

It's been only a bit more than a week since the Arabian Nights/Asylum theme started over at GoS, but I figured I'd repost what I posted there so far (plus one new set I didn't really find fitting).

These are retextures of the crown molding meshes that came with Apartment Life. I didn't post them because I don't find them all too Arabic, but they use the same textures as the doors and were initially made to go with them.
The thing with these is that they are slaved to each other. The top designs look shitty on the bottom mesh, so I made retextures for the bottom too (which look fine on the top mesh, just less ornate).

< Mediafire or Dropbox or Box.net >

These are complete retextures of a base game window called "Arch of Antiquity". I also managed to add a texture to the recolour package for the stupid blue glass, so that part has some new texture options too. Files are all Compressorized.

< Mediafire or Dropbox or Box.net >

This is more 'vaguely inspired' by Arabic architecture than anything else: Five retextures of the 'Open Sesame door by 40 Thieves Ltd.' door that came with the base game, for your... treasuries and throne rooms and such. I was thinking more of Aghraba than Marrakech, so to speak.

< Mediafire or Dropbox or Box.net >

These are 6 retextures of the Moroccan base game door called 'Doorway to a Distant Land'. The retextures for the frame are also picked up by the 'Archway to a Distant land' arch, which is slaved to it.

< Mediafire or Dropbox or Box.net >

This is a bit of a quickie: Three retextures of the base game Moroccan column called 'Up, Up and Away'. I wanted to make more, but unfortunately the mapping was a very special brand of Impossible. Files are compressed and everything.

< Mediafire or Dropbox or Box.net >

And lastly, a request I did for the Wishing Tree: A tabletop statue of the goddess Dibella from Skyrim. Looks a bit art nouveau-ish, I think. It's slightly shiny (but not obnoxiously so) like it is in the game.

Annnd c'est tout!

Absolutely beautiful work, Yuxi (finally, I will actually use those mouldings). Thankyou for everything you do.

I just love what you do - it's beautiful and nice to use it.
I mean the white curtains in the picture with Moroccan column.

Ah-ha, ha! I was about to ask you where you found that lovely white, transparent curtain. ;) Glad I decided to read the comments before I typed an already-answered question! :D Now I shall use them on my Persian palace. :) And did I ever mention that I LOVE your work? Because I do. ;) I am a complete fan! I am always waiting on the edge of my seat for a new creation...because it's such a wonderful surprise and mystery! Every download is absolutely perfect and amazing and makes my Sim world amazing and my Sims (both genders) stylin', hair and all. ;) Well done, friend, well done! *claps*

Thanks for sharing the awesomeness! :D:D

Actually you're quite spot on with those moldings. Most of the Modern Arab houses where I live have similar moldings like those. XD In fact, take a look at this :D : https://andyinoman.wordpress.com/tag/sur-oman/

I really like the lamps in your third shot, where did you get them from?
And you're just amazing in making screen shots, I wish I had your skills!

Thank you very much. I particularly enjoy seeing those mouldings recoloured, for it is something I had wished for for quite some time. And the rest of stuff will come in handy, too. Thanks again.

Yep. Although EAxis did manage to screw something up and the outer corners don't pull the textures right. So who knows, maybe someone did give recolouring them a try but gave up soon after saw what the tricky bits look like.

I finally got a chance to see the door, window and column recolors in game. I like them all bunches, but those columns? Absolutely gorgeous! I wish the mapping wasn't such a pain so you'd make more. :)

I love the Dibella statue! I have a penchant for decorating my house with these in Skyrim. Thanks for sharing.
