[Object retexture] For Maron: Sidyana - TS3>TS2 pond retextures
ETA: I still had some ideas for these and the number 7 annoys me, so I added two more retextures: A black one and a stone coin pond with cherry blossoms. Swatch and download have been updated.
Quickie for Maron: Retextures of Amovitam's TS3>TS2 pond! There are7 9 in total, most a bit weathered and outdoor...ish. You can mix the water texture (but not the leaves and such, they're part of the other subset) for good times. I hope you like them!
All the files are compressed and the mesh and previews are included.

Credits to Amovitam for the conversion!

And since I haven't posted a nice little picspam here in forever, here's a room I posted on Tumblr a while back.
Anahon's living room.

And that room is gorgeous, yet creepy. It looks so quiet....

Ohh, I'm happy to hear it gives off that vibe! I imagined the toys and most of the books hadn't been touched for two decades, at least. XD

(Anonymous) 2012-04-18 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)I actually edited that mesh so the flowers are a subset of their own..but I'm gladly getting rid of that to use your recolors instead.

Oh, let's see! There are a couple of different books in the shot but they're by Kativip (open book, Skyrim books), Bluebottle (blue books), Ja (colourful old books, look for the Courageous set in her TS2 Mediafire folder) and Sims Design Avenue (the green-greyish ones). The teacup and the gorgeous teapot are by Nemestnaya, here and here.
And as always, thank you so much for the feedback! :D

Let's see, the table lamp is part of the table and it was made by the lovely lalabubus, here, and the wall lamp is from VitaSims (cottage bathroom).

They look more awesome than I could have ever imagined!! You be really fast dearie, thank you so much! <33333 The water texture is smexy~
What does 'Sidyana' mean?? Perhaps, it comes from a game? xDD
Anahon is one lucky sim- having you as a decorator will sure cost you money, but the result is sooo worth it! Wanna come over to Finland???? :3 Again???? <3
...sniff... Lily & Snape... TT_____TT Didn't remember that her theme was so heartbreakingly beautiful!! :'( Probably because I hate the movie... And it fits the room 150%ly btw!!

Yay, happy you like them! I love how the water is mapped, makes it look like you could dip your toes in. <3
Oh, it is a song name actually! Here 'tis.
Hahaha, Anahon lives in a basement. A fancy basement, but still. Ohohoh sure I'll come over! But only when the weather is sensible - snow in April, geez Finland. DX
And the song, I had it on repeat while messing with that room. <3 The entire OST is so beautiful.

Ahaha, that's EXACTLY what I thought! The toes-thing I mean.
*faves* <3
That's a fancy basement indeed! Fancier than our livingroom dammit.
Be stunned- almost all of the snow has melted. By saying that, I don't guarantee that tomorrow it won't look like North Pole again.
I'm afraid I have to get that OST now then.

Stunning room. Luxury! Causes such a peace.
I wish I could afford such a room.
At the expense of pond: you read my mind - I just need it in the game))))
Thank you *kiss kiss kiss*

Glad you like the room too! I wanted it to look like a place an old soul would feel at home at.
You're always welcome! <3

But serious there's so much stuff in your room pic spam that I've never seen before and I'm about to offer up a first born or something similar to get your downloads folder.
How do you manage such a decadently decayed elegance?
Okay, I give and feel free to kick me but can I please find out where you got the dining chairs, and if I'm right that chesterfield chair came from BPS or Pocci *pulls out bifocals to get a closer view* Oh and the stunning tasseled table lamp and wardrobe.
Seriously I'd send you and external drive just for your DL's folder.

Let's see, the dining chair is by Shino&KCR (the recolour is just a simple multiply overlay/saturation adjustment). The other chair is indeed by Pocci! The lamp is part of the table and is by Lalabubus, and the wardrobe was part of Aviolina's Silent Hill set (all her links are down, so you can get that one here).

Same here with my downloads folder, I try very hard to keep it organized in case of crashes and such but after awhile it reverts back to holy hell. teehee
Gorgeous!!! Yet again...
Seriously, the pond is beautiful, but what really startles me is how you can assemble items, some of which I have in my game, others that I have no idea where to get (which often drives me crazy), and others that I've simply overlooked cause they didn't catch my eye, and suddenly make them become a work of art. It's disturbing, I tell you!
Fortunately, your are as brilliant in your creations, as you are patient and generous in telling us what items you have in your pictures, which is also something I find worth mentioning (it's not all that often one can get such extensive replies, and even the links). I'd only like to know if there's any chance one could get hold of your own personal recolours of some of the items - it may only be a small difference from the originals, but it DOES make a difference... ;)
To sum it all up... I'm in love - thank you for that!
P.S.: In my babbling, I forgot to ask you, I can't pinpoint where I might have seen the framed picture in screenshot 4, and I'm also not sure about the ceiling lamp and decorative plates on screenshot 1... I'm sorry, I can't help it, I must have them...
Re: Gorgeous!!! Yet again...
Many sites have closed and a lot of stuff is in obscure places nowadays, so I don't mind helping people out if they can't find a particular object. And the object creators deserve credit too, of course, heh.
As for the items, that lovely painting is from Aviolina's Silent Hill sets over at GoS, but the links are dead so I've uploaded it here (along with similar ones from the same set). The Tiffany ceiling lamp is by VitaSims, from their Victorian Shop set (booty link) and the wall plates are by Dincer (scroll down to the Moroccan set).
Re: Gorgeous!!! Yet again...
You just took the words out of my mouth! I believe that hunt is a great part of the fun indeed, and I seem to be spending more and more time doing it lately!
And I agree with you on giving credit to creators, there are so many true artists around there that deserve acknowledgement for their (often painstaking) work, you being one of them!
So, thank you once more for the kind replies and for the inspiring work, whether it is your sims creations or your delightful assemblage of gorgeous clutter!
And I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me, either drooling over your items, your pic-spams, or both (and wanting to get your secret chest of treasures) - I subscribe what someone else said, about wanting your downloads folder, nevermind its chaos (I believe no true CC lover can avoid having a chaotic downloads folder, by the way, and I plead guilty to that myself ;)!

Can I please ask where the 2 dolls and the rocking horse are?
no subject
The baby doll is from Aviolina's Silent Hill set (uploaded here because all her links are down, but I recategorized it under 'Children'), the other doll is a rebecah retexture by twistedFATE at GoS. The rocking horse is from this beautiful set. :)
