Here's a rather motley bunch of stuff I managed to make the past week. First up is a wall sconce for the Aspirations theme over at GoS.

They say money can't buy taste, but what does that matter when you can afford the golden face of the Roman god of looove on your walls? Guaranteed to fit perfectly with your Aphrodite-shaped towelracks and lion-faced doorknobs!

Both the mesh and textures are from Devil May Cry 4, so all credits for that goes towards Capcom. Should be basegame compatible and can be found under 'wall lamps'.

And second, my TBTO gift to Greymanticore. Click the pictures to go to the post!

Hello hello! Today I come bringing some fineries for your more pretentious sims: Candelabras, wall sconces and a two-story chandelier converted from Resident Evil, straight from the mansion of Oswell Spencer.

One caveat: I cloned the candelabras from University objects, and the chandelier from a M&G object. I've looked at a tutorial on making things basegame compatible, but was not successful - from what I've read it's more than just a little number change for lamps.

As for what is included, here are some previews:

Two wall sconces

Expand for the rest. )

Remember, you will need University for the candelabra and Mansion & Garden stuff for the chandelier.

Second, here are some items I added to the Galeria Occitana mirrors yesterday. First up is Merril's notorious Eluvian mirror from Dragon Age II. Could also pass for art nouveau, with a little imagination.

And lastly, a little bonus: Two more retextures of that little Mango-Sims mirror.

It's that time of the year again! I participated in the Christmas in July event over at GoS, and my generous Santa was NathanialRoyale, who made me some gorgeous Asian paintings and scrolls, and lovely walls and floors from Fallout: New Vegas! You can check them out here.

My Santee was the lovely [livejournal.com profile] lilith_sims, who I made these thingies for:

She generously decided to share her gift, so you can find these in her post in the CiJ thread over at GoS! As always, be sure to check the entire thread for more goodies.

The second thing I wanted to mention was a download I posted on my Tumblr earlier (moving it here now). Not much to say about that one - it is a sofa ripped from Tomb Raider: Anniversary. The original textures are kind of small, so I might make better retextures of it at some point.

Here's some stuff I posted on my Tumblr earlier - figured I'd post them here too for the sake of organisation, especially since my Tumblr layout is a bit of a pain to navigate if you're looking for something in particular.

Four retextures/edits of a clutter object by Rosesims. You can find it in Deco>Misc for $150. Credits to Rose for the mesh, of course.

Second were some more wall plates. I personally find them useful when doing some ~quick and dirty~ decorating for backdrops and such.
Mesh is my own (310F173V), it uses two tiles and it’s $500. TS2 only, but feel free to convert or whatever. The texture in the mesh file is indeed Medusa by Carvaggio. There are two bronze plates depicting St. George and the Dragon and two French or Flemish (I don't remember which) portraits. The dragon is a medallion from the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644 - the real thing is actually a tapestry). The pewter plate depicting a profile of a lady was apparently from the 1880s.

Here's a set I posted at GoS last week. I'm still working on Reno's suit too, but the collar is killing me.

I have this odd fascination with certain types of objects, like chandeliers, candelabras, Venetian masks and most of all: Mirrors! What's shinier than mirrors? Very little is what. Here are edits of some of my favourite mirror meshes.

Small square mirror

A versatile little mirror retextured in two different styles. Mesh by Mango-Sims included.

Large round mirror

This mesh was cloned from an OFB mirror, so you'll need that EP to be able to use it. Mesh by Birgit included.

"Big is Better" mirror edit

This is an edit of a Nightlife mirror. There was a little angel ornament thing on top that I felt was out of place, so I hacked it off. Unfortunately, it will require Nightlife because I couldn't get it show up otherwise. The glass can also be retextured. Mesh by myself included, obviously.

Maxis/Jope mirrors

These are retextures of the "Past Reflections" mirror that came with the base game, and two mirrors by Jope from SimplyStyling that were based on it. All meshes are included.

I've posted this set here before, but for this upload I added another mirror to it that used the same mapping.

This is the new retexture...

...and this was the older set, which is included.

One last note: I tend to modify the meshes of objects I edit to add shadows, so if you already have the meshes, replace them if you want those.
