Okay well, I just need to heartfart about something.
My mum likes prowling brocante/baroque-themed decoration shops for ideas and trinkets (and so do I, but for different reasons), so she often comes home with magazines and folders and whatnot. Last week or so she brought a catalogue from a company called Baroque: House of Classics. SO. PRETTY. Between this and Francine (a shop that carries black and neon modern baroque stuff) I could indulge myself into poverty.

Too bad I live on a student budget in a tiny, tiny room. Oh well, that's what TS2 is for, yes?

Speaking of decorating, here's a tutorial class in Malrennan State College. Poor Neyri is no longer an unemployed historian working as a bartender, but forced to teach bored undergraduates while working on a thesis. I'm using it in only one or two shots, but it reminds me of good times.

I forgot where I was going with this, so I guess it wasn't all that important. Cheerios!

Cafe del Mar: Mandalay - Beautiful
Well, it's Cafe del Mar, so expect ambient/chillout music with ~dreamy~ vocals.

I am way too excited for the DA2 demo that is to be released today. GIVE IT TO MEH.

And here is some picspam of Club Hemisphere, supposed to be an exclusive host club in the uptown area of Malrennan. MF's next chapter is taking long because I'm rewriting all the previous dialogue to reflect plot changes, meh.

Italian is on my sexy-language-I-must-learn-someday list. That aside, 'tis picspam time! This is supposed to be the office of the leader of some seedy underground guild. Vaguely inspired by Ezio, Antivans, Athkathlans and vague references like that.

More ACII music, because that's what inspired this in the first place.
Jesper Kyd - The Plague
Speaking of the Black Death, if you read eyewitness accounts of contemporaries (like the Decameron) while listening to that, you can really imagine the horrors they're describing, egh.

I had a big chunk of text about some WIPs and about wanting MOAR pretty ornate/antique furniture for my houses, but then my computer died and my head started to hurt. So I'll just leave this here. I know I posted them before somewhere, but it is what this journal is for, after all, no?

Well, I finally slapped my game and computer back into submission, as well as the lighting mod I was pouting over for not being available any more. Just in time to be kicked by a bout of inspiration, in fact.

This is Aele's house, inspired a wee bit by an old dijkhuis... dyke house? in my town. He likes collecting pretty furniture and just puts it all together without much regard for whether it has any business being in the same room or not.

And the git himself, because I liked the lighting:

I can't be arsed with the bedroom and kitchen, meh.
