Un Amour Éternel - A Prologue.
I no longer have or play the Sims. Most of my CC can be found on this OneDrive account. For a picture catalog of the CC, check my Repository on Tumblr.
Thank you for the fun and support over the many years - this game and community were part of my coming-of-age, and I hope it will stay strong for many years to come.
Much love,
Yuxi.
Welcome to Un Amour Éternel, Yuxi's TS2-crap-dump! I dig decorating, storytelling and making pretty pixel people, amongst other things. Older content (like old hair retextures/conversions) can be found on my Livejournal, and a masterlist of most of my stuff can be found here.

In case you want to know how I roll:

This is a list of the lovely creators and sites I get pretties and/or inspiration from. For closed sites, I added back-ups of their content where I could.
Sites and forums
Adele (mirror site): Beautiful objects and clothing.

Cool Sims: Pretty, quality hairs for both genders by Anto.
Cradle of Darkness: Many beautiful and darker downloads by some excellent Russian creators.
Elegant Decay: Used-but-not-quite-abused objects and other things by Nixy - I think the site's title pretty much says it all.
Enayla's Escapades: A subforum at Insimenator where Enayla posted her phenomenal eyes, skins and clothing inspired by the world of the fantastic.
Fashion Twist: Realistic, high-quality and elegant clothing by Confide and Tantra.
Gamesir: A plethora of talented Chinese CC creators post their creations here. (You do need an account view the board and GSBs (forum money) to download, however.)
Garden of Shadows (forum): Alternative-themed forum with many, many pretties. Basically my home forum, and I get at least 50% of my CC either from or via GoS.
Imaginary (at Sims2Graveyard): Problematique's and Noirmuse's old site, now hosted at the Graveyard. A plethora of shinies can be found here.
The Medieval Smithy and Plumb Bob Keep: Quality build mode items, object recolours and everything else you'll ever need to build a historical-themed 'hood.
My-mashup: Beautiful wallpapers, floors and lots by Isi. The site is gone but there are links to the items on the main page.

Malrennan's Fall - Index
Malrennan's Fall is a storytelling project executed in comic format, using the Sims 2 and a buttload of Photoshop as a medium. I usually post per scene, some longer than others - the latest pages can be found at MF's Tumblr, where I upload them as I finish them.

(Anonymous) 2010-12-27 12:48 pm (UTC)(link)I love all of your creations and your decorating skills amaze me every time I visit
your site)) I adore and envy you, in a good way))
Then I have some questions/requests/begging for you:
in some of your ''house tours'', more exactly this one http://esperesa.dreamwidth.org/42953.html, as there's a credit list, exactly those objects I amaze the most were made/recoloured by you.. Guess how many times I made Homers 'Doh'?... Sooo, my question is- will you be an angel and share
them? Or are they made 100% for personal use?.. :I
Then there's something else:
I guess for already 3 years I've been trying to register at Gamesir, but
no success! And when I saw your link to http://gamesir.com/viewthread.php?tid=83759page=1#pid2419098 I was like '' oh holy muffins!'' The thang's asking for a ID card number and I can't make my way ''through'' it.. And I want the Ephemera stuff so badlyy... D': You know any way I could register? :')))
So, anyway, I thank you only for reading my blabber, and if there'll
be any response, I'll bring you sum doughnuts!))))

Ahh yes, those recolours. Some of those replace the textures in the original mesh file to save space (or if it wasn't recolourable, like CherryND's loveseat). I can dig through my stuff and upload them all in a separate post, though. Fun times, that. XD Were there some in particular you would really like to have?
About registering at Gamesir... that is a good question =/. I somehow managed to hop on board years ago (though I remember having to use a proxy because it wouldn't let me at first), but it seems like it's invite-only now for new members or something? I'm unsure. I don't have enough posts to invite others myself either, alas. Pretty much all of Ephemera's stuff was reuploaded at Sims Cave, though (small comfort, I know).

(Anonymous) 2010-12-28 09:46 am (UTC)(link)Ahaha, I want them aaaall. Joking. But I find all of those recolours pretty, so if you
manage to find at least some of them, you'll make my day!)) But if you wont, that'll be perfectly
fine, I hope I'm not being pushy or anything.. And could you also please tell which of the recolours
replace the original texture?))) Also! these blinds here (http://leeuwhondje.tweakdsl.nl/lots/yuxi-roomwithaview5.jpg) ! Is it possible for you to upload them also, as I've been searching for them for a pretty long time) 1000xThank you! <3
Simscave does a nice job on getting all the goodies for us, but what they offer
is just a small part of all the niceness out there) But yeah, I know it's pretty much impossible
to register at AsianSimsFans... Racists lol... Again, thank you!))

Hmm, the ones that replace the original colours are the Vitasims canopy, the Avalon curtains, the XMSims windows, the Stitch roofs and the CherryND loveseat. The first three are no problem as I can just make separate recolour files, but the latter two weren't recolourable and I was too lazy to fix it XD. That said, the roofs/canopy/windows are really just slightly darker/more desaturated recolours of the originals. Anyway, I'll make some completer sets of the recolours as soon as I get the time.
Ah, about Gamesir again, someone told me they were able to register so I was quite wrong about the invite-only thing. Do you get some jabber about a Firewall when you try to register? If so, I can only think of using a proxy (or kidnapping someone else's computer), as I'm not sure what makes that appear for some and not for others. Eh.
Oh, and before I forget, here are the Ara-Garahan blinds!

(Anonymous) 2011-01-01 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)Take your time & thank you so much!
At Gamesir, they're asking for an ID number(aka. national identification number)and real name
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Identity_Card#Identity_card_number
So, they want to make sure that you're a real person with a Chinese
nationality. Heh, I wish it was the Firewall preventing my registration))
Ah, thank you so much!!)))
